The Warlander Studbook Society has a dedicated office in the USA which handles all registration, transfers, membership and enquiries for the USA, Canada and Mexico. Please direct ‘all’ enquiries and registration services to registration@wssna.com

Overview

As the one ‘true’ global mother book for the Warlander breed and the founding body of the Warlander Sport Horse we are the ‘only’ registry in the world that offers all of these services and dedicated support to our Warlander horses in North America. Whether you’re a passionate owner, a longtime breeder, or an up-and-coming one, we would love to have your qualified Warlander horses promoted and included in our registry. How the process works:
  • Download forms and return completed to registration@wssna.com If you need assistance, don’t hesitate to ask and we will send you everything you need, plus we will be there to assist you every step of the way
  • Once you have emailed you completed forms with the services you require, our office will send you an invoice
  • Post your DNA material to: 52915 Preston Lane, Milton, Freewater OR 97862
  • Your documentation and DNA requirements will be prepared expediently

Product & Services

Membership Current membership is required to initiate any of the Studbook services. Lifetime Membership $1000 One off fee for Membership that entitles you to a Breeder Code, breeder listing and free ‘For Sale’ advertising on our website. Post in the hair sample (follicles) of the horse to be registered along with your completed and paid for application and we will obtain genetic markers for the parents from other studbooks/laboratories and submit the entire test on your behalf and obtain the report. If the studbook/laboratory does not have a DNA marker for a particular horse, your application will be processed in the Auxiliary Studbook unless you can supply hair follicles of the said horse. Authentic Documentation
The choice of authentic Warlander and Warlander Sport Horse documentation which is the same world-wide in hard copy or digital formats to suit your budget. FEI Warlander Passports with UELN and country code are available by request. Our forms come in English and Espanol to assist our members in Mexico. A step-by-step guide is available to assist you or email our office if you require assistance.
DNA Services
A USA based office with dedicated officer of the Studbook who you can deal directly with for all DNA services in North America. DNA Parental Verification, disorder and colour testing are all available and we work directly with the USA’s top genetic laboratory. Request a DNA Parental Verification Kit and simply post us the hair follicles of the horse you want registered and we will obtain corresponding DNA reports of sire and dam (if available) and organise your test.
Full support for Members
Your registered horses will receive their own page on our global Online Genealogy under their country of origin. Members of the Studbook will receive ‘free’ advertising for the sale of horses on our website. You can receive internal testing (assessment) via video through the studbook for breeding approval, awards and premiums and in future we will have face to face assessments
